AWOL (A Way Of Life) is a newly renovated 12-bed recovery house for men who are in the early stages of recovery from drugs/alcohol addiction. Located in East Haven Connecticut, AWOL offers an environment dedicated to providing men with the tools and structure needed in their successful recovery. Our goal is to support each resident as they strive to integrate back into society while renewing responsibilities to themselves, their families, and their communities.

AWOL (A Way Of Life) strongly believes in the 12 step fellowships. There are scheduled 12 Step meetings available seven day a week within five minutes of our residence. We refer to this as “one stop shopping” because of our close proximity to local businesses and retail outlets.
We understand that the value of one addict/alcoholic supporting each other is widely recognized as having a substantial benefit towards achieving and maintaining long-term recovery.
